Our History

Langham Arts America

Langham Arts America (LAA) was registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2009 to complement the ministry of the Langham Arts Trust (LAT) in the UK and offer US citizens the opportunity to invest efficiently in music evangelism. The joint mission is to point people to Jesus through the power of music.
LAA is governed by a Board of Directors and, although it shares the goals of LAT, it is an independent organization, selecting and screening event requests in America and abroad. Events often focus on locations that have few resources and limited contact with the Gospel message.
LAT and LAA receive many invitations for events and projects from near and far. Some potential host groups are unable to cover the cost of an event. Supporting Langham Arts enables donors to make a concert possible in areas with limited resources and minimal access to the good news of Jesus Christ.
Langham Arts America, Inc. is solely dependent on donations to support its mission. Please consider partnering with us in this growing musical mission opportunity!

History - Langham Arts Trust, UK

Langham Arts Trust was birthed from All Souls Church, Langham Place in London, UK. In the late 1970s, Noël Tredinnick - then Director of Music at All Souls - founded the All Souls Orchestra. Within a short span of time, the Orchestra grew in demand and renown and over the past 50+ years has performed internationally, recorded multiple albums and been instrumental in bringing the vision for Prom Praise and the wider music ministry to life.

In 1986, the Langham Arts Trust was born. Known fondly for many years as All Souls Music in grateful acknowledgement of its roots and heritage, LAT was created to support the burgeoning ministry of the All Souls Orchestra, Prom Praise and all of the associated music ministry of the charity.

While the Orchestra no longer comprises solely All Souls members, the growth that this strong heritage has enabled sees an ever-expanding vision to see God’s glory increase throughout the earth through the power of music.
